Step 1

Consultation

Your visit begins with a one-on-one consultation with Dr. Travis Tillman.

During this conversation, we’ll discuss:

  • Your current symptoms and concerns

  • Past injuries and health history

  • Lifestyle and activity levels

  • Previous treatments you’ve tried

  • Your personal health and performance goals

This helps us understand not only where you’re experiencing pain, but why it may be occurring.

Step 2

Comprehensive
Examination

Next, we’ll perform a detailed examination to evaluate how your body is functioning.

Your examination may include:

  • Posture analysis

  • Spinal evaluation

  • Orthopedic testing

  • Neurological testing

  • Range of motion assessments

  • Muscle strength testing

  • Functional movement analysis

This allows us to identify areas of restriction, weakness, instability, and dysfunction that may be contributing to your symptoms.

Step 3

Digital X-Rays
(If Necessary)

If clinically indicated, digital X-rays may be taken during your first visit.

X-rays allow us to:

  • Evaluate spinal alignment

  • Assess degeneration and arthritic changes

  • Rule out underlying conditions

  • Develop a more precise treatment plan

Not every patient requires X-rays. We only recommend imaging when necessary to provide safe and effective care.

Step 4

Your First

Adjustment

In most cases, patients receive their first adjustment on the same day.

Your first visit adjustment may include:

  • Flexion-distraction therapy

  • Manual chiropractic adjustments

  • Instrument-assisted adjustments using an ArthroStim

  • Evaluation and adjustment of the hips, ankles, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and fingers when clinically appropriate

Our goal is to begin improving motion, reducing stress on the nervous system, and helping your body function at its highest potential.

Step 5

Schedule Your

Doctor’s Report

of Findings

Before leaving, we’ll schedule your Doctor’s Report of Findings appointment.

This visit gives Dr. Tillman time to thoroughly review your consultation, examination findings, and any X-rays that were taken.

We believe patients deserve answers—not rushed recommendations. Taking this additional time allows us to create a customized care plan based on your specific needs and goals.

Your Doctor’s Report of Findings

During your second visit, we’ll sit down together and review everything in detail.

This appointment includes:

  • A complete review of your examination findings

  • A detailed analysis of your X-rays

  • An explanation of what is causing your symptoms

  • Discussion of your health goals

  • Personalized recommendations for care

  • Time to answer any questions you may have

We want you to fully understand your condition and feel confident in any recommendations that are made.

After reviewing your findings and discussing your care options, you’ll have the opportunity to receive your second adjustment before leaving.
